Cardigan Bay Bottlenose dolphin 007
007 “Double o seven” is a favourite of the researchers at the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre, having been photographed in numerous encounters over the years and being frequently seen from New Quay harbour wall by our observers. 007, the secret agent, is a regular in the Cardigan Bay Special Area of Conservation and is often photographed around New Quay and Ynys Lochtyn but is also seen as far south as Aberporth and Mwnt. 007 appears to associate with a number of other Cardigan Bay dolphins but one particular acquaintance is Nick (015). These two Cardigan Bay dolphins have been photographed together numerous times over the years and appear to enjoy each other’s company!
