The first sighting was right at the start of the trip, before the boat had even left, when an adult bottlenose dolphin was seen foraging out by the reef buoy. This was at 10:53. The rest of the trip consisted of seal sightings. The first was of a juvenile female seal seen in the water someway out from Trwyn Crou at 11:38.On the return leg at 12:04 an adult male seal was sighted in the water close to Trwyn Crou. Shortly after this, at 12:08, a juvenile seal (sex unknown) was seen in the water just passed Trwyn Crou. The last sighting of the trip, and the season, was of a juvenile female seal seen at 12:36. This youngster was spotted swimming off Pen-y-Castell. When the Sulaire stopped to watch it swam right up to the boat and around it looking at the visitors onboard. A nice end to the season.
