Tuesday 27th October: Boat Survey Results: 3 Bottlenose Dolphins, 9 Atlantic Grey Seals.

Weather conditions; sea state 3, varying lower; visibility >10km; light swell; south eastern wind, varying south and south west.
All sightings were of Atlantic grey seals. The first was at 9:58, just by New Quay head. It was in the water. The second was at 10:11. It was in the water just south of New Quay head. The third sighting was a group of two females. They were in the water at 10:38 by Trwyn Crou. The final sighting was of a single seal in the water at 11:41 just south of New Quay head.

The first sighting was of a seal at 12:34, in the water near Castell Bach. The second sighting was of a seal hauled out at 12:44 near Trwyn Crou. The third sighting was of three bottlenose dolphins foraging at Ynys Lochtyn. The fourth sighting was of a female seal in the water at 13:10 north of Ynys Lochtyn. The final sighting was of a male seal eating a fish just south of New Quay head.
