19/07/10: Boat survey results: 5 Atlantic grey seals & one harbour porpoise

1.5hr start time: 09:53

Weather Conditions: sea state 2/4, visibility>10km, swell low

First sighting of the day was at 10.43 near the coast of Trwyn Crou. It was of three female Atlantic grey seals swimming in the water, within a distance of 40 metres of the boat. Another sighting not far from the first one was observed at 10.47. It was of another female Atlantic grey seal swimming in the water.

Weather Conditions: sea state 3-4, visibility>10km, swell low

Unfortunately we did not spot any dolphins, porpoise or seals.

Weather Conditions: sea state 2-3, visibility>10km, swell low

We had one sighting on this trip, it was of a female Atlantic grey seal swimming in the water near Cwmtydu beach at 13:37.

Weather Conditions: sea state 2/4, visibility>10km, swell low

One harbour porpoise was seen travelling east at 15:39 accompanied by a feeding and diving kittiwake near of Carreg Draenog.
